Situated on its own breath-taking bay as a part of the Pembrokeshire’s coast, Lystep Beach is ideal for a relaxing holiday. Right at the heart of what has become one of the UK’s central spots for a staycation, Lystep Beach is, understandably, a popular park. Only a short drive from the beautiful town of Tenby, you’ll be wanting to come back every summer! Be at peace watching the waves lap onto the shore over those beautiful hill tops.
At Haven Lydstep the indoor pool is heated so whatever the weather, you can still enjoy all the water-based activities, including free Learn to Swim and Water Confidence sessions for the little ones. You can also learn fundamental water safety training with the RNLI. Down on the beach you have a host of water activities available including Jet Skis and Kayaking with coached sessions available. The whole family can enjoy the Banana Rides and you can also hire Power Boats.
Meanwhile, Lydstep offers a range of activities for those who aren’t a big fan of getting in the water. Archery coaching and the new outdoor ranger’s activities offer a hands on, interactive experience intended to help guests make the most out of their holidays. Activities such as Wild Music Tots and Mud Muffins help young families get outdoors and explore the surrounding areas. Unlock your imagination and childlike wonderment creating spells and worshipping your mini kings and queens in Wild Wizards and Crown Creations. You and your children are bound to have the time of your lives out in nature!
Some activities are subject to a moderate extra charge
Manor House is known as the hub of culinary genius at Lydstep Beach, offering amazing views at dinnertime, it is truly at the heart of the park. The water-based activities down at the beach are always popular with the children - and are unique to this park. Younger kids can enjoy making sandcastles and having a paddle in the safe, clean waters. There are plenty of activities on the park too at Lydstep Beach. The outdoor play area is fantastic, and the indoor climbing wall is a fun challenge. While one of the main highlights has to be the indoor heated pool complex, the new introduction of the Seaside Squad offers activities centred around the enjoyment of children. The park has also introduced mini sports dedicated to improving the fitness of young people in friendly, new, and exciting such as pool kayaking, mini archery, and mini fencing. Den Building and Bug Hunt also encourage children to work together and use their minds, as well as teaching them all about the creepy crawlys around the area. Who says learning isn’t fun?
