Good food and meals out are always a big part of any holiday and, at Lakeland you have the option to dine in or eat out with menus to suit everyone. There is a Mini Market, with an off-licence and fresh bakery section, which is always well stocked for those preferring to dine in or grab a snack on the go.
The dine out option include Lakeside Bay restaurant, Cook’s traditional fish and chips shop, and Papa John’s pizza shop, offering a variety of hot and cold drinks and hearty meals to choose from. Full breakfasts and lunches are also on offer and, in high season there are Summertime Barbecues on site.
Just picture watching your little explorers climb up Lakeland’s brand new mini aerial adventure with massive thrill-seeking grins on their faces, and their excitement when they have finally conquered the course. It’s safe to say kids love Lakeland for all the fun and games it has to offer. Children are at the heart of every caravan park, especially Lakeland, which aims to provide exciting new activities for them to engage in all year round. From Den Building to Adventure Trail, your kids are bound to get their hands (and clothes) dirty having the time of their lives and learning at the same time! With Grizedale Forest and South Lakes Safari nearby, your children will definitely get their fill of adventure. A variety of Caravan homes are on offer at Lakeland. From bronze to signature, accommodation is inclusive to a wide range of budgets. Lakeland offers beautiful holiday homes at a variety of prices- even including a saver caravan at a tremendous value of £79 for 4 nights! All of the Holiday Homes offer the option of 2 or 3 bedrooms, and you can also choose the wider 12ft or 14ft models for even more space. All caravans come with a fridge, microwave, oven, gas fire, and a TV. You can upgrade your caravan to a gold or signature package, which offer more high spec features including, but not limited to a veranda, a dishwasher, a Bluetooth speaker, a hairdryer, and better views. Dog friendly units are also available to those that don’t wish to leave their fur babies at home.
Lakeland also offers a range of lodges for guests to choose from. Emerald, diamond, and lakeside lodges all come with allocated parking, all essential kitchen appliances, a 40-inch TV and DVD player, a Bluetooth speaker and more. Ranging from 16 ft wide to 20ft, these lodges are perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Their double glazing and central heating also make them a cosy choice for holiday makers even with our unpredictable British weather! Adapted holiday homes are also available which are suitable for wheelchair users.
